  • More than 50 percent of human trafficking victims were born in the United States; 19 percent in Mexico; and 18 percent in Asia.

  • traffickers frequently relocate their victims

 

Here’s the scoop. In Silicon Valley, human trafficking victims are young, American women. They are most often sexually exploited at an early age, and their exploitation continues as they are forced to sell their bodies.
